Nice pool, is a shame with covid that the showers are closed as it's always nice to know People shower before getting into the for hygiene. Also need a better plan for the reception. I had 2 points of contact with them and both times I had to stand around waiting whilst the team member was on the phone to another customer. At one point there was 4 people stood waiting. Not his fault as he was doing his job, but maybe they need a plan for calling customers back when there are face to face customers waiting, or have a different team never responsible for the phones. Either way, it's a nice 3-lane 25m pool. And on my visit there were 3 people to each lane, which felt comfortable. I'd would definitely revisit. Staff are great Very friendly, informative staff. Never used but husband uses gym, small but adequate, sauna good too. Exercise classes very good on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, no air conditioning, sometimes held outside. Both instructors Lisa and Melanie are excellent at their job plus Chris and Catz are very good at filling in if instructor are away. Would recommend. 3 stars because of no air conditioning only. Good size leisure centre, there's a pool, large car park and i believe parking is free. I have not used the gym so I can't comment on its standard. But the staff are friendly. Swing park at the side and a concrete basketball play area st the back. Very clean and tidy and staff make you feel so welcome. With easy free parking. Showing a little bit of wear-and-tear, but the building as a whole is in a good shape and it's clean and tidy in the showers and rooms. Toilets could see some more love on the Men's side at least. Water temperature has been consistent. A touch on the cool side but not cold, and pleasant when swimming. Once you're in you don't feel it. Overall quite nice. This place is amazing! The staff are amazing, the rooms are so clean, always 2 lifeguards on wach, great gym. Whenever I go their I always see all these things. However, if I could change it, I'd have doors in the rooms insted of curtains because I was getting dry once but a Yong girl slammed open my curtain when I was naked because she thorght it was her friend... but other than that, I love it. Fantastic swimming pool, the recently finished rooms have really improved this. The gym is small but much quieter than most. Great place for swimming lessons. Nice new rooms, but only 3 showers so a bit of nightmare during swimming lessons. Staff all great through 👍 Very pleased to be back!!!! Very impressed with the way the staff guided us through the new procedure. The was well spaced out, the facilities were clean and well marked to know exactly where you needed to go.
