Gregg's is a very popular coffee/tea stop and much more with their lovely bakes....when shopping in McArthur Glen. Food was great. Service very good. Got a seat. Very busy. Gone down in my opinion the range has been changed old favourites gone new not as good Always do good Queue out the door, very slow service, and staff standing around not serving. Lois watched an old lady stand up and push in front of 5 people who'd been queuing and proceeded to serve her before all those in the Queue including a couple with a pram and young children. The only saving grace is the product. Popped in to get my birthday treat, the lady serving was so helpful and happy to help with the app as I didn't have a clue how it worked. The eclairs and vegan sausage rolls I had were really lovely.(I'm not vegan but love these as a change )The best I've had from any other of their shops . Hope to pop back in soon. You can't beat a Gregg's. A huge Greggs. Busy. Grumpy staff. Assured me the cheese bakes were hot. They weren't. They were pretty cold. Standard Greggs food but not served with a smile. This store never opens on time for whatever reason they make up that day, they’re very slow when working & the worst is the cleanliness of the store prior to opening is quite frankly very worrying. If this is what people can see, what does it look like behind the scenes? Good stock, prompt service, clean venue, outside seating, and the quality that you expect from a Greggs. It is unacceptable to be opening 30minutes late and then this is all they have to offer - and the floor is all dirty and tables aren’t wiped The staff were extremely friendly though and helpful. Unfortunately there are serious issues with this store in that they do not open on time. I have been caught out so many times that I no longer use greggs. It's been ongoing for a long time. Whenever you complain, they just fob you off, give you a voucher and say the area manager will be informed. But nothing ever changes. It's embarrassing! Awful service! My mother took my 3 year old today and wanted to buy her donuts my mother was spoken to like a little kid and absolutely embarrassed by your member of staff with ginger hair working on Saturday 18th may 2024, how dare you treat another person that way ! We will find out your name and report you because I'm sure Greggs don't want people like you working for their company. Your there to do a service and not to embarrass people and make them not want to come back.
