Make sure you book as very popular! Travelling from the North to the South we looked for a vegan place to have lunch and we ended here. It has a big car park, we had a very warm welcome and we were served promptly with a delicious meal. We enjoyed our visit very much. We were full as the portions were great. I am sure we will come back on our next trip to the North Lovely welcome, fabulous food and great service. The Sunday Lunch Lamb was amazing! The desserts are huge and delicious 😋 All in a relaxing country pub garden. Cosy warm traditional pub. Good social distancing measures and friendly staff. The place is clean. The prices were reasonable and the food was very good with huge portions! You get a lot of salad with a salad and we ended up taking home leftovers, they had boxes to provide this. They have fireplaces for cooler weather and a box of books. Such a lovely pub, the food was incredible - I would highly recommend. It's great value for money, the service was fantastic and if we lived closer we'd definitely be regulars. Little pub with a BIG impact, the staff are always friendly, laughing and joking they are just amazing! Well the food...wow! All HOME made so I can't fault any of it! Parmos are just out of this world and I have never seen my partner struggle to finish a burger until we came here 😂 he loved it so wouldn't leave it but it took him a while to finish it! Starters are lovely, mains are delicious and deserts are unreal! Give them a visit because you won't be disappointed! Passing through on our way home to wales from Scotland and happened on this pub. Wish we lived closer than a 5 hour drive, the food was first class!. Generous portions and freshly cooked would definitely call here again in the future Lovely and friendly pub. Very welcoming staff and delicious home cooked lunch. We had scampi and fish and chips. My fish was enormous and so fresh. Clean and inviting. Was a perfect stop off on our journey home.
