An interesting mill showing the history of milling and a local cultural centre A yard in the centre of the city. Beautiful tobgrab a beer at summer nights. The monument at the site functions as a multipurposencultural space that from time tontime hosts exhibitions. Fresh at of the box is the small museum that tells also the story of the building. Renovated, has a small bar plus a big live music club. The main building hosts room for seminars and bureau of Thessalian theater. In summer there is open cinema. In winter, lounge for theater. The open place is modern and renovated. During lockdown and covid period of course closed. A well renovated early industrial complex, beautifully transformed into a cultural complex with a museum, a theater, an open air cinema, a puppet theater and two cafes/ bars ( one of them a concert venue). A large square-like yard in front of the main building adds to the atmosphere. Lovely Good to zee the heritage of Larissa is preserved by the municipality. Different cultural organisations have there place here and there is a museum. Amazing place with a good music of all styles. Just make sure you check who is performing. great place that someone is good to go see and experience. theatrical acts, dance, music, yoga, photography, contemporary art and in general events of explorative nature and beauty. there is open/summer cinema there as well. a visit is highly recommended. You can't miss this gem. The visit is really worth it. I have never seen such a complete collection of wheat processing machinery. All of that recreating the time when the mill used to work and magnificently documented Great museum in Larissa. It is contained in an old flour mill buidling, which also serves as a cultural centre. The lady on the admission desk, Nicoletta, was very helpful with tips about Larissa. With a nice enclosed square this place is great of you have children since it allows you to let them play without worrying about traffic. It has two cafesv that double as bars, a theatre and museum of puppet theatre. This is the site of an old flour mill that had now been turned into a municipal cultural centre. Here some great concerts are held in the winter months and in the spring and summer months you'll find a choice of open performances. It's an excellent choice if you have kids. However, there is room for improvement, for example a playground would make it ideal and a bit less stressful for the parents who have to follow their kids in case they stray. As far as the cafe is concerned, it's good, but if they improved/enriched their services - added food maybe? - then it would be excellent. Other than that, they're friendly and reasonably priced. Nice place to spend half an hour and lear about flour production. Very helpful staff. Free admission.
