Basically a greasy spoon truckers Café, the massive trucks parked out the front give that away. They do however, make families welcome and serve good, honest, down to earth food at a fair price. It is served with a smile from staff in clean and tidy surroundings. What more can you ask for? 🍔 😁 Proper little transport the likes of which were all over the county once, but alas no more. Some still survive, this being one. Plenty of parking for trucks. Decent menu and the was a one. Well worth a visit if you are passing and in need of sustanance Lovely shop on the main road . English available , sandwich grill , burgers . Made a small detour off of the 303. Only 3 miles each way. Brilliant cafe. First class food and service, very staff. the whole place including the gents was very clean. Well with the small detour. Old style classic English cafe. Seems like a family run business. Very welcoming and service. food. Genuinely lovely people in a proper old school transport cafe. Loads of room to park car / truck / motorbike. Inside is warm and welcoming. Toilets are sparkling. Staff are very genuine and and the food is spot on. Fried slice is standard as are two sausages in the - no skimflation here! Vegan options available and is plentiful and good. outside seating for when the weather is better with views across the valley. You get a English here. Even locals come here. While we were there it was quite busy. The prices are reasonably good. The Diner is very simple and plain, but the food is the most important anyway Big breakfast, ham salad, tea and were tasty, nicely presented, value for money. Wide variety of options on the menu. So much better than chain options, and only a few pence more than twenty quid. So me and some mates rode our Harley’s from Bridgwater on a very wet day, parked our bikes in a very large car park, Trucks do stop here but that doesn’t hinder anyone else, it was worth the wet ride this has a nice feel with equally nice people looking after you, the food was and very value we had a large with potatoes inc a for £12.50 Thanks everyone we will spread the word amongst the biker community rgds CJ of the Wednesday Wanderers place for a 'Brit Stop' in your motorhome overnight.
