The were lovely, but there simply weren't anywhere near enough of them for a Saturday lunchtime, and as a result, was incredibly slow. Food was pretty good, and the value for money can't be argued. Outdoor play area for the was too. Plenty of parking was helpful as well. How friendly is this place. Rob looked after from the moment we walked in. "T" brought out food with a smile and made sure we were all ok. Just spent the afternoon in Stonehenge and this was a perfect place to finish the day off. Thanks Rob & T Had a all day breakfast first time I have been to this place it was very clean and the at the bar was very the waitress came in no time with the chips and the breakfast the chips were very hot and some of the best we have had we shall make another again shortly we came back and wasn't disappointed this time it was for dinner I had the maga mix grill and my wife had the large gammon which came in three pieces all was perfectly the gammon was moist plus all the meat on the mix grill was tender the rump steak had no gristle and was perfectly middle to rare plus i asked for the sausages to be brown Which they did for me 👍 Ok place overall, but someone has definitely dropped the ball on our today. I ordered fish, and we ordered a camembert to share. Camembert wasn't available, and they only had 2 fillets out of 3 in the fish dish I ordered, but offered to replace it with scampi, which I've gladly accepted. In a less than half occupied pub, we've waited for an hour for our food and lost all appetite by then. When it came, the dish itself looked like that from a menu, just plain boiled fish with a slap of tomato sauce on it, paired with completely unseasoned veg, and scampi to replace on of the fillets came in a small sauce ramekin. Honestly, I wouldn't have gone to complain about it online and would rather say all that in person, but no one has checked on us either. Basically, too many things have gone wrong. Don't think we'll be back. Rant over 😂 2 for 1 burgers Friday. As we were passing, we thought we'd stop there for lunch. Pub not too busy. One young man behind the bar struggling. Long queue to order with people giving up & leaving. I was desperately trying to use the app instead but had problems loading. The food was when it came. Not too generous with the chips portion but l suppose, it was already a 2 for 1 deal. Burgers were tasty. Wait for wasn't too long thankfully. value overall. Husband and I went for lunch today, and it was so lovely, I had the 8oz gammon pineapple, egg, chips and peas, OMG! The gammon was just amazing and the egg to perfection, my husband had the full Monty mixed grill, outstanding! Steak, perfectly to his liking, gammon, succulent, chicken, tender and moist, sausages and again like mine, his eggs were to perfection, the were lovely and the dining area was spotlessly clean, well done girls you made our lunch perfect and 2 more happy customers thank you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely fantastic from Rob! Rob made our to the pub such a experience — friendly, attentive, and full of personality. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, from recommending drinks to checking in at just the right moments. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and enjoys what he does. The atmosphere was great, but Rob’s really made the night. Huge thanks — we’ll definitely be back! We were served by Rob, who offered nothing but exceptional customer during our visit. As soon as we entered, we were greeted with a huge smile- he was incredibly accommodating; relatable and down to earth. Quick and efficient both at the bar and table. Our food, by James, was equally amazing and value for money. Cannot wait for our next visit. Thanks guys! I cannot fault the or the food here. The were amazingly attentive and honestly couldn’t do enough for us informing us on deals and just being overall friendly and welcoming. The food came and it was exceptional, both me and my brother had the chicken banquet and it was amazing. Overall both the and the food were top quality and if you are after decent food, decent with a decent atmosphere then the Longs Arms are the place to go Food is back to being amazing. Went here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of amazing customer service! In particular a young girl called Paige I believe, she was extremely polite and made us all feel very welcome ! She went above and beyond for us and we are very greatful for your patient and kind staff. Will definitely be recommending 🥰 Not enough couldn’t cope but tried there best. Should have sent away walk ins. Deal with reserved customers & only a certain amount at a time so chef/cook isn’t overrun. Reserved table for 6 but had problems from start. Plates & food were cold which as a waitress & cook that’s worked in a kitchen the plates should be warm. Food was sent back & reheated in microwave! Chicken wasn’t properly on 1 meal. Food came out at separate times when should all come together were served last ( when should have been first hungry not happy kids) . Cutlery was dirty. Waited a long time. Will not be back for food again. We have eaten here on a fair few occasions but we were served by Rob(at bar) and Oscar(food service), both where very good. However, we had never seen Oscar before and to say his was very is an understatement. He made sure that our food was OK though every step of our and treat our 6 as if they were all individual customers. Very polite and courteous. If he is new, he is a very very member of the team and he should be commended on his attitude and customer though a busy service. Thank you Thank you to all for wonderful today. I must mention Linda and Zoe 😊 but also Holly for Ryan’s delicious crumble! We had such a nice meal and all are so lovely and friendly. I have to say how clean and new it all looked today. Well done 👏 I had a surprise 18th Birthday party for my daughter on Monday. and customers helped me put up decorations. Food great, caring and helpful, atmosphere. What a success, thank you. The lighting and gentle ambient music gives the place a really warm and welcoming atmosphere. The (Rob and Ceri) were great. Really friendly and so very easy to talk to and have a banter with. Freddie the chef also did a job with really well and presented food. Looking forward to going back again.
