Such a lovely cafe with great cakes. The spicy honey cake was really good. So was the Welsh cake. We had the honey late which sounded better than it tasted. It was a late with some honey basically. There is plenty of parking space and the place is not particularly busy on a Friday afternoon. We did not get a chance to try the food from the breakfast or lunch menu. I would absolutely love to go back someday and see what they have to offer. They had a cute sign that said they were having a lot of trainees, but they all did great. I’ve never seen Welsh cakes as big as they had them in this cafe. They had one flavor only which was the original raisins she said. Very beautiful and yummy. Food, service and setting all 6 stars! We stumbled upon this little gem of a cafe in search of restrooms, but stayed for the sweet treats and cozy, countryside atmosphere. The honey & spice cake was unbelievable, an absolute must-try. Grace was a joy to meet, from her warm greeting to her local insider travel tips, she brightened our day. If we are in the area again we would definitely be back 🥰 Went today with five family members, we were seated in the big room, first people to arrive. The room was so🥶 even the couples seated near to us went back to their cars to get extra clothing. Have visited the Honey Cafe twice and were seated in the smaller room, unfortunately third time unlucky🥶. If you are booking do not reserve a table in the larger room. The food and service were fine but we glad to finish our meal and get home to warm up. Wonderful café with very tasty food and lovely staff! Very welcoming with food changes and all round very kind.
