Good location, next to a river walk and close to the supermarket and restaurants. Stayed one in the cabin after long day of driving. Bed is so soft that you can’t sleep on it and AC sounds like an aircraft engine! Nice caravan also with cabins, located next to town, river, etc. flat, some van sites grassed, gravel and concrete, nice swimming pool, playground, walking tracks, bike track. Amenities oldish but and floor towels for showers. Staff friendly and helpful. Short drives to local areas attractions, large shopping district. Stayed here before many years ago and will stay again when in district. The staff were friendly and helpful at check-in. The 2 Amenitie blocks are quite old but clean, they are well set up with a mop, blade and broom but the best was the shower mats that were provided. It felt wonderful stepping on a floor mat after a hot shower, the mats were daily washed. Shower tap might benefit from a new washer, it is hard to turn the dripping shower off. Nice laundry, has a hot drink machine with freshly ground coffee that takes card. The washing lines could be nearer to the laundry facility, there is a fenced pet next to Amenities block. The camp kitchen is in the camping near the pool. In the evening the outside sitting is lit up by a tree wrapped in fairy lights. Easy access to the river walk. The has everything you need. The cabin was an comfortable. The kitchen an bathroom could do with some work. But they worked well.its not somewhere I'd stay for more than a night. That's not the itself just the whole area. They had the heating on for us which was fantastic in winter.good price for a an comfortable stop. is beautifully maintained, gardens kept lovely. And staff were friendly and helpful. Only stayed one but it was a little noisy from traffic on highway as we were close to the entrance. River walking track is on the edge of the with no fence so was a little concerned about security. In saying all that, it’s a stopover when traveling and close to town. What a fabulous caravan park! With friendly staff, amenities including a communal with a fire pit, BBQ and pizza oven under Fairy lights. There's also a little dog play which was fantastic. When its warm, they have a lovely pool too. The river frontage is also for a nice long walk. You can also walk to town too. Will definitely be back! First camping trip at the Gippsland which we found ourselves a spot here for 4 nights. Showers have strong water pressure and are hot. Bathmats were a plus. Toilets are cleaned daily. Would've been if cleaning was done twice a day on peak season. Every or so there's activities organized at the common area, with a campfire. Food trucks do come and go through the day. It was nice that kids got to enjoy some Greek doughnuts. Common kitchen is little old but usable. Every morning I'd be woken up by the loud noises of the birds. It's also right next to a main road with noise from traffic, which winds down later in the evening. It was nice to take a walk next to the Mitchell River. The Koala trail at Raymond Island was just a short drive from here. Riverside holiday had everything we needed, in a location. The ensuite cabin we had was and a size for my partner, our dog and I. The bunks in the cabin would make it a good option for a family too. There was a decent sized off lead for us to take our dog before bed each for toileting and a bit of play. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stayed here for 2.5 months last year for work, and came back recently to see friends and stay here again. Tracey and Peter are fantastic, very friendly and kick ass at management. Peter’s help makes me believe I can reverse my caravan seamlessly. The whole team of staff are lovely. The grounds are tidy and and have everything you need. My partner and I were traveling up the east coast when our ute needed major repairs. We called and made a last-minute booking to stay at the campground. Everyone who worked there was amazing and accommodating for us while we were stuck for an entire day without a vehicle. Would recommend as the people are very lovely and the place is kept extremely clean.
