Had not visited for a year as had moved from my hometown.Very disappointed with RSL venue.Signs say no bare feet or singlets etc.Saw kids running about in bare feet, bikie male with bandana,in singlet and wearing thongs with other co-offender. Male bartender gruff,unsmiling,un welcoming.No greeting.Looked like he had constipation and didnt want to be there.Steak Night was a luke warm dish,heavens help us !! Bistro lady Manager was lovely amongst this once heralded new venue for our town.Management should be ashamed.Our town deserves better from an RSL venue. My husband ordered large ribs, which were actually the small serving, they were cold and like they had been microwaved, could not be eaten, they tasted gross. The staff were not polite at all that served the food, were rude. My nephew did get a good looking parma he said it was real nice, my chicken snitzel burger was nice. But wouldn’t eat there again. Ripping off mothers on mothers day. $42 set price for barely $20 meals. This fat had some steak in it! $20 soft drink jugs! I bet they would sell their own grandmother for a profit Had a feed for mothers day dinner. Had the wagyu beef burger, burger was a little dry but overall was good. Service great and everyone friendly. Will try some other stuff on the menu next time and see how it all stacks up Honestly have never laughed so hard because of how chronically bad this place was. Kitchen ran out of squid and chicken nuggets at 7. Ham steaks were on the menu at $30.50. I would genuinely be surprised if the people cooking were actual qualified. Sea food linguini was meant to have a lemon butter sauce, I couldn’t taste that. What I could taste was the absolute atrocious assortment of vegetables that appeared to have been thrown in with zero thought. The parmi, something I didn’t believe could be messed up, was a soggy, bland mess, that if I didn’t know better, would have thought had been boiled. Positive note, bistro girls were lovely and mushroom sauce was pretty alright.
