Special parma $20 and a pizza both nicely done the place is spotlessly clean service and warm with wood fire going. Will be back soon. Great, friendly atmosphere set in an amazing location with the most beautiful sunset that I've seen in a long time (visited in late October). Pub has a pool table which is a big plus and staff were very helpful and generous. Good selection of craft beers in the fridge. Has a full restaurant menu, we had pizza which was ok but dough a little too thick and not cooked enough for our liking. A night though! Stumbled into this place on a whim and it ended up being a find. The beer selection is top-notch with a solid mix of local craft brews and classics. We had the steak and it was seriously good — cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and way above your usual pub food. The atmosphere was laid-back and inviting, with good music and just the right level of energy. You can tell it’s a spot people love coming back to. Service was friendly and on point. Drinks came quickly and the staff actually seemed to enjoy being there, which always makes a difference. Great beer, food, vibe. Definitely coming back. Lovely hotel with exposed wood interior, standard pub fare. Was incredibly busy when we went, and was slightly under staffed for the volume of people so they did well. Expect quite a wait for food when it is busy, and the meals did not come out in a coordinated fashion eg kids meals took 10 mins longer than the wood fired pizza. They even serve espresso martini and stay open after 9 on a weeknight in winter 😁 Big crowd at the Friday night event I went to. Plus you can get bangers and mash. It is a nice place with view to have dinner. The food is ok. Re-visited the pub (after approx. 18 months) after hearing about the change of ownership and of course the recently installed Guinness tap! Must say, a refreshing change (even on a quiet Sunday evening) was greeted with a smile which was an instant improvement on the last visit. Ordered a pint of Guinness which came out absolutely perfectly (currently on special for $13) and this is from a very fussy Guinness drinker. Ordered the Schnitzel with a side of chips and pepper sauce which arrived after approx. 20 minutes which is about right. The food was fresh, tasty and hot. Again, a massive improvement on the last visit. The pepper sauce was very tasty although a bit lumpy in appearance, Couldn't fault it though. Got to meet one of the new owners who was very friendly and welcoming. All in all a and I'm glad I made the effort to give it a fresh go. I'll bring the gang back next time! Decided to this pub as it wasn't far from where I was staying, I was stunned by the beautiful views this place has to offer definitely the best view in a pub in Australia for sure! and was greeted by a lovely staff member who helped us to our seats and told us where to order and where to get drinks which was fantastic! We picked out the fish and chips and the calamari, we loved the calamari so much we had to purchase a second bowl, Best calamari I've ever had. Hope to return here some day soon! This hotel was terrific, id give it 10/10 if I could the food was amazing especially the Parma probably best one I’ve had the scotch steak was also amazing , also kid friendly. Prices of food reasonably fair compared to Melbourne. Recommend to book on busy long weekend. Visited Recently with my son and daughter, we had some food and a drink. I was very surprised that the venue did not have any accessible toilets for people with mobility access. My son who is in a wheelchair could not go to any of the toilets as they are very small. I asked someone in the bar and they advised no toilets for disabled people, and it seemed that they did not know when this would be changed. A big shame as i would like to return again with my family but now will not due to the accessibility options provided for people with mobility issues.
