We were recommended this but were disappointed in the service! We were being hurried to order by the man behind the counter, told him I was still looking but he kept hurrying me to order (there was no one else in the shop besides us.) I tried making some conversation but suddenly he'd ignore us. When I said bye, he turned around and walked out the back and ignored us still. We felt quite unwelcome here and not sure if we'll be back. Pie was nice but wasn't cheap; $12 for a pie and small drink... Good place to stop before trekking up the Great Alpine Rd, or after coming down. The pies are good quality and the coffee isn't bad. Not a bad little to stop for a quick bite. Pies were great - chunky fillings. Very tasty. After a lengthy bike ride down The East Gippsland Rail Trail, this served as the perfect pitstop to gather my breath and have something to eat. I tried a variety of products here, the standouts were the beef and curry pie, and the apple scroll loaf. I was astounded by the affordability of the food here. I can guarantee that this will see more of me and my wallet! Some delicious treats and the bread is often delicious. Sadly though the only thing that lets this down is its service.
