Beautiful location, lakes and pegs are all kept in very good condition, the sun was out, and the water was calm, lots of on the top activity from the big boys meant that it was going to be a challenging day but i pulled 5 decent carp out, all in very good condition, a great day fishing, superb venue, very welcoming Manager and an all-round great place to fish, Lovely looking venue, nice pegs and a choice of lakes. All though I didn't have a they looked amazing. Lots of work being done to the venue and I'm sure it will be mega in the future. First time here and really enjoyed it. Nice big carp and loads of pegs free. Will definitely return Fantastic fishing a must go to any serious anglers. Friendly staff, beautiful lakes and surroundings, plenty of big and small fish to be caught (carp, barble, bream, roach, rudd, perch). My favourite is the smallest (pasture I believe) where I consistently catch barble from the banks every time. Very well run fishery in a beautiful valley. With 5 lakes this fishery has plenty to offer match anglers and pleasure anglers alike. The couple who run it are very friendly and there's a cafe on site which also sells bait ( no maggots, just pellets, boiles etc) Great fishing and beautiful surroundings. We had a match on the Doughnut on 24th July 2025. 15 anglers first met up at the fishery HQ for our and what an excellent that was, a big with drink £8 a small with a drink was £6. After Gary the owner lead us to the as it is some distance from the HQ to this lake, but on the up side you can drive all round the and park directly behind your peg, ideal if it rains. This was the first time RAL Angling Club had visited this fishery it won't be our last, everyone caught fish and in total over 300lbs of fish were caught a most enjoyable day. I would like, on behalf of RAL AC to thank Gary and Cathryn for firstly an excellent friendly service and a most enjoyable days fishing. If I could make one observation a few well placed direction signs would not go amiss, especially as the roads here are only just wide enough for one vehicle. Thanks. Lovely bunch of lakes with very active fish! The carps in the field are brilliant, toilets on site which are clean and looked after, great too!
