We decided to give it a try for a couple of days, my wife and i are so impressed that we have booked for a long weekend in October. Great friendly staff. Absolutely fabulous if you have a dog or three, play park for the kids, train running at the weekend and nust a short walk to the village. 10 out of 10 A lovely woodland campsite. Work in progress for the owners but chipping away to improve everything on what is a big site. Toilets and showers functional but no issues. Easy walk into Alford and other great walks from the site. Pub, shops and cafe in Alford What a lovely site to camp with family, location is great with a pump track and kids playpark a 5 minute walk away. Lots of space around for the kids to play, and surprisingly the site is nice and quiet too. The facilities are good, decent shower that has a tap rather than the push button which is greatly appreciated! There's a wee coffee shop and store on site, usual camping bits and small stock of grocery things.
