Played as crew (NPCs) for the Wild Wierd West LARP event that is 'Flying Lead' a couple of weekends back, and had the best of times sleepin' in a log cabin, cookin' chow on an open fire, makin' friends, shootin' enemies, sellin' snake oil, scammin' suckers, tellin' tall tales, sippin' hooch, listening to both types o' music (Country AND Western), watchin' shows of fire breathin', death defyin' bullet catchin', psychical precognitative card predictin', and time distortin' man shrinkin', all while fendin' off attacks by big ol' bears, mothmen, lizardfolk, and werewolves from outta them there woods. As crew, they fed an' watered us pretty dang well, consid'rin' there weren't none o' that fancy Eastern runnin' water nor eeelectricity goin' into the town. Only got shot once, but at least I didn't get turned into a dang wolfman. 5 stars. Would go again. Great site, great staff, great players (regulars) never had any real issues on site, very well run and managed by all and can’t fault the team at all. Games run smoothly and on time. Food and drink is also decent and reasonably priced. Will happily return as this is the most local to me and also one of my favourites! 10/10 would recommend. Great place to enjoy a day or weekend. Great for groups with a large selection of friendly regulars willing to take care of newer players. Amazing site, the film SIM was epic loved it. A really well run event with a good group of marshals to keep things running smoothly during the game. It's a nice big with some varied terrain, foliage and some structures. There is food available on to buy along with hot and cold drinks. The only small issue is there aren't tables/benches to use to setup your gear. But not a major problem as you can do it in your car boot. Overall a really good day and I'll definitely be going back for another one. I've played a couple of the filmsim games there, they were really emersive, exciting, well thought out, planned and executed . Great fun, highly recommend and worth the money Excellent site, friendly staff but no running water! Bring your own if it's going to be warm. Fantastic site, first time playing a night game and this did not disappoint the marshals were great with the guys that had never played before and made it a really good time for all of us.
