We visited Goodsheds for the first time. we were visiting a friend that lives in Cardiff and we travelled from Bristol. We had a 10 out of 10 experience and I can’t explain how many different Food courts they were available. My favourite part was that you can order from couple of different food courts all from the app and everything simply shows up on your table. It was definitely worth the drive from Bristol. We will be visiting again. A cool, fun and efficient food hall. It’s an outdoor setting with plenty of cover. The food and drink ordering was great, via a QR code which allows you to order to more than one vendor at the same time. That makes it very easy for a group to order different food together. Our food arrived promptly from the different vendors, with a delicious chicken burger and generous bowl of nachos the highlights. Ordering drinks from the bar on the QR code was always very easy. Would definitely again to try food from other outlets. There is also a row of small shops on the site. Parking is available a short walk away, follow the signs to the upper car park, above the pub, and walk down to Goodsheds. We walked down to the goodsheds to have some food, and it was so nice. Plenty of places to sit, inside and outside. There is plenty of choices of different foods to have here. We chose to have Meet and Greek. The food took around 20 minutes to be delivered to our table, it does say please expect a wait of around 25 minutes as the food is cooked fresh. It was a nice size portion and very tasty. It is well worth a and for sure we will be going back. Maybe we shall try 1 of the other eateries down there as you can see in some of the pictures attached. 1st for us to the place and we had a lovely evening and will be going back. Brilliant place with fantastic food huts and small shops, table service if you want and beer prices reasonable, heaters on all around you to keep you warm, ran out of to see live music 📍 Paint & Sip, Goodsheds Last weekend we went along to a fabulous paint & sip session run by @tipsykahlo at Goodsheds in Barry. After a welcome cocktail, we got painting. We did the Halloween themed session and so tried, emphasis on TRIED, to paint pumpkins and a cute ghost in a field. This was such a fun activity, neither of us are particularly artsy as you can see but the fun was in trying. A cocktail and materials are provided and you can take your masterpiece home. Each kitchen doesn't really have many options for food mind. Service is but you have to dispose of your own waste yet tipping/service charge feels very enforced. Whenever we go tables are sticky and other people's waste is left on them. Last there was no water either. Generally the atmosphere is alright, it's our doors so unless you are near a rowdy table the sound disapates quite well compared to indoor venues. Having said that I normally have to bring a jumper and know some people wear hats and coats to keep warm, there are some heaters but not every table get the benefit of those. I should add it's all sheltered from the rain. I do like the assortment of food available just wish there were more options. Prices seems reasonable too. Our first as I moved away from Barry many years ago. This venue is an excellent idea as when you as a group there is so much variety. I opted for a peanut butter latte and a cinnamon donut, both delicious. Did not understand where to park but did not take away from our experience. We'll be back for sure. The food we had from Bab Haus Mex was absolutely delicious and totally recommend the birria tacos. Service took some despite it being a quiet early afternoon on a Sunday. Some vendors and stalls at goodsheds overall and worth a Interesting place with food court and local businesses. Once the building works next door has finished it’ll also be less noisy, hopefully. We came here to try out a dessert place that turned out to be closed that day which was a huge disappointment. We ended up having something else sweet so all good in the end. Service was quick, food was lovely. A few choices but a bigger variety would have been nice like Newport market. Ordered from 3 different places and no cutlery was given. Very disappointed experience overall. Went to the front room which was amazing. Came here to have desert from obscene desserts. 9 pound for a tiny portion of a chocolate Sunday. Would rather have a mcflurry as this was totally disappointing. Then ordered tea from goodbar. When a young man brought the tea, I asked for milk and sugar, and he said yeah it's at the front of the bar and walked off. Will not be coming back here again. Over priced and rude staff A Ham & cheese pannini & a decaf latte. It was a lovely pannini hot, soft & crunchy. The large latte was hot flavourful & creamy. Great friendly staff & only waited a few minutes for the pannini. X This is such a initiative by the Welsh government. Bringing a lovely, well-looked after pocket of independent businesses to Barry. With a unique design it is to walk around and have an explore. Plenty of amazing food options, we had the cobbles sandwich and spice & street which were so good, service was slightly slow but we went at a peak time. Highly recommend A gem in Barry. Goodsheds offers a wide variety of delicious food, easily ordered via phone. There are also smaller retail units, all placed in quirky surroundings (including an old train), and it's a perfect location for a hangout with friends. Fab place, I love the concept of sitting in one of the bars and ordering from any of the food vendors and they deliver it to you in the bar. It's a brilliant idea. We ordered some bubble waffles while watching rugby in the sports bar. So many little shops to mooch around in, and all creatively made from containers and train carriages. I wish I had something like this close to where I live.... Having been to Goodsheds before when it first opened we decided to today for lunch. Not at all busy. Tables only just clean. Food was diabolical. Rwcola advertised foccacia garlic bread, but we were served garlic pizza. When we sent it back it was returned to us stating it was the foccacia garlic bread ... just made with pizza dough! That is NOT what we expected when advertised as a totally different bread style. AND it was burnt. They advertised option to add cheese ....no such thing existed on the app. We also ordered a curry from AG Indian.....they offered option to have half rice and half chips ....again not able to do on the app........ not even a nice curry! Very expensive for what was ordered! Exceptionally poor quality food. Would NOT recommend. We will definitely NOT be returning. So very dissapointed.
