Great place to ride to when doing the Sella Ronda or just climbing this pass. This is one of the easiest passes to climb. They have a restaurant and hotel at the pass. It is a good place to get a bite to eat. They also have a water fountain as well. Fabulous views, lots of restaurants and a peaceful area. Beautiful pass, part of Sella Ronda. Nice ! Kom opp til dette passet, ca. halvveis på turen. Pizza, øl og kaffe. Fikk ladet syklene våre. God service. Great way to get from Corvara to Arabba. And back. And stop fir a bier at the top! Che posto incantevole. Arabba è bellissima Another great mountain in the Dolomite; also with a cafe at the top, and a nice cycle climb. Nice little climb (comparitively speaking) Passo Campolongo is a picturesque high mountain in the Dolomites of northern Italy, situated at an elevation of approximately 1,875 meters. It connects the towns of Corvara in Val Badia and Arabba, serving as a key route within the Sella mountain group region. The paved road, known as SP244, features winding hairpin bends with an average gradient ranging from 5% to 7.4%, making it popular among cyclists and motorcyclists. It is famously the first climb in the Maratona dles Dolomites granfondo and has been included multiple times in the Giro d’Italia race. The climb from Arabba is shorter and steeper, about 3.9 km with a 7.0–7.4% average gradient, while the Corvara side is longer at about 6 km with a gentler 5% average gradient. The offers lovely alpine meadows and forested sections, though it is considered less dramatic in views than some nearby Dolomite passes. Visitors can find refreshment points at the summit and several hiking trails starting there, including routes to the Bec de Roces refuge and Cherz plateau. The route is typically open year-round but can have short winter closures due to weather. Passo Campolongo blends accessible alpine beauty, cycling challenge, and cultural relevance as a gateway to Dolomite exploration. Mooie beklimming met de fiets, zeker ook de afdaling 😁 The greatest pleče to ski, and aparthotel sellaronda is great, has jacuzzi and sauna included Amazing place to bike!!! Colfosco I love you Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
