Overall a positive experience here. Nice and friendly service and nice clean freshly remodeled rooms. However there are some things that are missing. 1. They charge for everything. Unlike other hotels that offer chocolates or waters in the at no additional charge. 2. The wifi is free but horribly slow. To install wifi is not expensive and bandwidth isn't that expensive. 3. The rooms don't have AC so if it's hot out prepare to melt unless you like sleeping in a hot room. 4. I could not find an ice machine anywhere. So I was stuck with warm water. There was a fridge but that was only useful once my waters sat over night So after going for a nice stroll on the well manicured landscape and taking a freezing shower to cool Off it was still a nice hotel with an ambience set as a time piece. We were looking for accommodation during our way from the business trip back home. Call in the afternoon about the possibility of stay. Very pleasant reactions. Everything was smooth and simple. Rooms are traditional for "castle stay" but very fine. Dinner you can have in the restaurant next to the hotel with very good quality. I was a little bit confused how and where is the served. Small with no warm food. I gladly recommend this hotel for overnight sleep close to the highway. This place would be amazing in the depths of winter, covered in snow or the middle of summer, basking in warm sun. Unfortunately we were here in the rainy spring. Never mind, it was still great. The rooms are clean and well presented with a good mix of old and new (old style, all nice and up to date). Staff pleasant and the location is good. is a bit small but I say that as a big hungry Australian who likes bacon and eggs and sausages and all sorts of stuff for breakfast. If you're used to a typical continental you won't be disappointed. All up, nice place :) This was a beautiful, comfortable hotel in a lovely city. The was large, clean and luxurious feeling, and the surroundings breathtaking. The weather was extremely hot (30 degrees Celsius) so the lack of air conditioning was am issue, but the cool nights made up for that. The grounds were gorgeous and the buffet was a delight. We would definitely consider staying again. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Ferienwohnungen Bonnschloessl for a weekend getaway to ski in the nearby area, and it was nothing short of perfect! The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and flexible throughout our stay, and although we didn’t meet the owner until our departure, the professionalism and care they’ve put into this place are unmistakable. The Ferienwohnung itself was exceptional – it felt as though we were stepping into a brand-new space. Everything was in pristine condition, and the cleanliness was outstanding. The attention to hygiene and maintenance is rare to find and immediately makes you feel comfortable and at home. The highlight for us was undoubtedly the spa area. Impeccably designed and maintained, it was the perfect retreat after a day on the slopes. Relaxing in such a serene environment added so much to our stay. If you're looking for a gem of a place near the Chiemsee, this is it. Whether for skiing, relaxation, or simply unwinding in a beautifully maintained and welcoming environment, Bonnschloessl delivers on every front. We’ll definitely be coming back! We had a wonderful here. The people are very friendly and care for their hotel. The is outstanding and the attendant serious about her job. The only down side was our was directly on the road - so very noisy. The wifi in our didn't work - we sat in the corridor to get it to work. Wonderful staying experience in fourteen century built very modern castle. Me and my wife were extremely happy to here. Very modern, nicely decorated, sparkling clean. Very cooperative and helpful host Sylvia, the queen of this palace. Down to earth person. We will remember her hospitality and kindness long long time. Highly recommending this place for staying at beautiful lake district of Bavaria. One request to the owner: If you can provide in future, it will be 10/10.
