We followed Rabbie's day tour lead by Mr Chris, to Chester and Conwy, and this is one of the stops. This roadside stop with incredible lakeside view. Good for photo Beautiful lakefront view with Snowdonia mountains in the backdrop. The sword sculpture has King Arthur’s vibe to it 😊, a good photography spot. There’s a children’s playground nearby as well. Great community stop next to stunning lakes & mountains. Loved every bit of this - the history and the story behind the sword is fascinating and how it reflects Wales culture. Lake. Mountain. Castle. All in one place. Lovely fresh swim after a hike up Snowdon! Water was cold and the rocks were very slippery, be careful when going in for a dip. Swimming is aloud but at your own risk and it’s worth a swim after a good hike! Fabulous views superb. Parking next to the lake and stone. Lovely walk along the lake and close to amenities. Loved it. Stunning location with this fantastic sculpture. I just can't believe that the powers that be have placed a junction box and car park ticket machines under one side of the sculpture, why not place them halfway down the car park or better still, the opposite end to the sculpture. Don't get me wrong, you can still get photographs of it, but it does limit the views slightly Well worth a visit , amazing view across the lake and up the valley with cribb gok and Snowdon towering above. Such a beautiful place Had a visit first thing in the morning before going up Mt Snowdon. If your by the lake have a look Mount Snowdon.... Completed it 😉 Popped the question at the top and there's a photo to see the end result 👌🏼 Car park was lovely and located with an amazing view over the lake which you can swim in! 2-3min from the Snowdon train and was fairly cheap to park in the day Been here a couple of time to visit friends and always taken back by it beauty.
