Nice area with good views. Mainly rural. Worth a trip Beautiful island to walk, cycle and visit. Lovely little villages Anglesey is a lovely island. They clearly welcome visitors then sadly charge extortionate fees to park your car in most car parks. Finding any free parking is a real challenge in most towns. It was lovely to see these 2 lions during our walk shame not more on show Love Anglesey, breathtaking scenery, fabulous food, great for dog walking and families alike. Anglesey is moist and rather flat . The old hotel/ castle ruins near Holyhead were interesting and the harbour was nice. Love my time in Anglesey lovely places to nice food friendly people, some great beaches and some good spots water sports too Excellent for walking. Beautiful scenery 😍 Isle of Anglesey, such a stunning island. Located over the Menai Suspension Bridge rich in history and plenty of historical places to visit. Castles, burial Chambers, working windmill, glorious award winning beaches, and numerous lighthouses. Forest are all over the island and are homes to red squirrels and lots of other wildlife. One of our favourite is Newborough Forest down towards Llanddwyn its about two or three miles walk but so worth it. Go and to find out more. Came to Anglesey for a week in March. Very lucky with the weather. Stayed at Wern Y Wylan Court Llanddona which was ideal for us. Very quiet with lots of walks. From one side, spectacular views of the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountsins. From the other, views out to sea. Ferries to Ireland leave from Anglesey. With secret coves round every corner and roads that frequently curve or dance in undulations, this is an island loaded like a storybook. Wild and a bit remote, top R hand corner of Anglesey, N Wales. Point Lynas, or Porth Eilian beach. Small car park behind the beach. Easy walk along the beach, then up to the headland towards the lighthouse. Views from the small headland there up and down the coast. When we visited in December 2024 there were seabirds, and dolphins! Great to see. The dolphins stayed for a while, just circling round where there were some rocks and seaweed. A lone gannet flew past, and there were some black and white coloured sea-ducks, possibly mergansers, plus young cormorants. Definitely coming again..friendly people. Lovely scenery. Great forest walks, long golden beach. Pay on entry by car, with parking close to the beach. Absolutely amazing place when the sunshine hits your face. Friendly locals as well, do make sure you see this place once. Went to the there beautiful place. Also nice with wild horses. Anywhere where their is nature and a peaceful atmosphere is definitely the place you need to be Beaumaris Castle and the town are worth a visit. Beautiful town. So much to see. Along with the rest of Anglesey, just beautiful.
