Had a really relaxing break in a hot tub lodge at Pen Y Garth. Its a 5 minute drive down to Bala high street. The only slight criticism I could make was the hot tub location on the decking wasn't very private. Lodge was clean and spacious and park was very well kept. I would definitely return. Definitely would recommend to couples or families. Great location and access to a variety of tourist attractions, local villages and coast. The park itself is exceptionally well maintained the lodges are clean, comfortable and well equipped Thank you my wife and myself had a wonderful stay We Stayed mon-fri over new year with my family. Arriving the lodge was beautiful, the walk in wardrobe was a lovely surprise. After looking more closely all the windows need replacing, they were all broken and wouldn't close properly, not safe in a children's bedroom. We ended up folding cardboard in them to stop the draft . The 2 nd day we had to go and ask for more duvets because my children were cold in bed . The receptionist was lovely, so helpful. The main bed was hard but the receptionist gave us a mattress topper that helped. The park itself is lovely, was quite although out the way it's perfect for a relaxing break. The hot tub was a hit with us all , my two children loved it , we just wished it had the screening around like a lot of the others to keep the wind off , Its only going to be a problem in the winter , definitely effected us with snow the wind was cold 🥶 . This was our second visit and it wasn't as special as the first time . The lodge (number 61) needed a good upgrade (flaking paint , dirty frayed carpets , broken windows , dirty grubby walls ) but we made the best of it and really enjoyed our family break . Have stayed here twice, in 2022 and 2024, both very pleasant stays. Room sizes are great, as is the living space, and the kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils if required. I never used the hot tub we had access to but it was evidently of a good size and temperature.
