A good alternative to all the parks in Basel and not very far away. It’s not massive but you’ve got enough to have a great time with kids. A lot of different playgrounds, bbq places and of course, and few exotic animals. There is a restaurant but it’s not really gastronomic so per se… you better bring your pick-Nic. Plenty of space to park. Best tourist place for all age group. Vogelpark there are monkey , peacock , you can see all type of bird eggs and one of best eagle show. Other than that you view all different kind of birds. It’s really beautiful place to visit. Recommended. Really cute bird zoo with lots of storks, peacocks and monkeys. There are also shows involving of prey that were exciting as the were flying really close to the audience. We could also feed the monkeys at a specific time. There are several playgrounds scattered in the park. We had such a wonderful time at this zoo! My daughter absolutely loved the chance to interact with some of the animals, and honestly, we enjoyed it just as much as she did. The highlight of our visit was feeding the monkeys — such a fun and memorable experience — and watching the incredible of Prey show, which left us all amazed. The size was perfect — not too big to feel overwhelming, but not too small either. There were plenty of areas to sit, relax, and take in the surroundings. The animals all seemed healthy, happy, and well cared for, which really made the experience even better. A truly great place for families! Very good experience. Nice park.. 2 main activities.. Eagle, vulture and other bird and then feeding popcorns to Monkeys and Peacock. Kids enjoyed it. Also we enjoyed most was feeding to small colourful birds. They have other small play areas almost 3 to 4. Barbeque huts you can reserve it free. Entry adults is euro20 and kids euro 10. Good outing of 3 hours. Magical place. Perfect size to spend the day without getting bored or overwhelmed. Feeding the monkeys popcorn was a highlight! Also feeding the and getting to interact with them was great. The is nice with a lot to discover and do with kids. While we enjoyed the park, at the end of our visit one of the two very heavy mirrors in the labyrinth fell on my daughter’s head and when she tried to lift it up, it fell over her, so she wasn’t able to free herself on her own. While I was helping her the mirror hurt my leg as well. While it might not the park‘s fault that the mirror was lose, I don’t think such heavy objects should be placed in a labyrinth where kids play. There was also no one to inform about the accident when we left, although the lady at the desk wrote down what happened and took our contact data. However, the it’s worth visiting. Fun place to be at! It's small but fun enough to check out. Definitely has the feel-good in there. Allows you to feed birds, monkeys (under supervision), and peacocks. I would recommend checking out the pink cockatoo and start dancing, bouncing and beatboxing with it! It definitely loves the vibe and will dance with you!
