Last time when In Fontainebleau, I stayed nearby and they hosted a party for Series Series (a small film festival) on Thursday evening that was so noisy that it was impossible to sleep. When I asked them how long it will go to get an idea what to expect they did not tell me and “recommended” to call the police which is ridiculous - and fascinating to see how they act as a public entity. Nice interior and there's always an exhibition going on... at least when I gave gone the past few times -- always some nice art to behold in the foyer! A cultural place ... Beautiful Architecture... Prestigious ... Activities & Artistic events... Very nice theater, very classy. It has a lot of room for hundreds of people which was quite impressive. Elegant Italian architecture gives it a classic look and feel, yet at the same time small and quaint enough to feel homey. A real commminuty, family space. My favorite performance space ever. Shocking experience here, at the outdoor bar (not theatre). Complete lack of respect and humanity from 2 guys working here. It’s a summer evening, everyone is in a good mood except 2 guys working at the bar clearing out the chairs for closing. 5min after ordering our drinks one guy starts making aggressive sounds while putting the chairs away, clearly trying to sound intimidating to push us away. He’s slamming chairs down and making loud growling sounds. And while this is happening another rude guy tells us to leave in the same way a police officer would talk to a criminal (no exaggeration). We say we just ordered the glasses and were told we had 30min. He aggressively says “No. I bring you paper cups and you will leave”. There is no excuse for this kind of behaviour in any context. My friends and I were shocked. Je suis restée sans voix entre la beauté du théâtre et la chorale que j étais venue voir . C était une soirée magnifique dans un lieu féerique. Tres beau théâtre. L’acoustique est excellente. Mauvaise expérience: pour notre première venue, nous avions choisi un spectacle humoristique avec Isabelle Nanty. Le spectacle a été annulé, et on nous propose, à la place, aux mêmes horaires, une lecture de textes de détenus dans les camps de déportation/d extermination, lus par Alice Taglioni… beaucoup moins drôle!!! Nous avons décidé de demander un remboursement: Malgré de nombreuses relances, nous avons reçu le remboursement (par le trésor public) 5 mois après le débit!!! Et sans une seule excuse ou réduction pour un prochain spectacle. Inadmissible! Nous ne sommes pas prêts d y retourner. Fabulous! Je n'ai rien vu du spectacle auquel je suis venu assister la semaine dernière. A l'extrémité du 2è balcon, la moitié de la scène et le fond sont absolument invisibles. Très déçu et malgré mon signalement le théâtre continue de vendre cette place...
