It was a success. The handler was amazing and incredibly patient despite having a young group of children. The kids had a and we did as well! The gent was very knowledgeable and showed me the basics of bird handling and the tricky knots that go with it. He was a patient and passionate about the birds. Would 110% recommend! It was amazing to get so close to the owls, even it the barn owl didn’t like me 😂 Me and my partner went to do the meet the meerkats experience. We were greeted by someone called Nadia (if I remember correctly) who took us into the meerkat enclosure. The was great, we got to feed the meerkats who were very friendly and cuddly and it was nice to be able to learn lots about them. It was just the two of us there, so Nadia gave us a tour afterwards and showed us some of the other which wasn't included in our ticket. Overall really positive and definitely will be returning. We the cute and cuddly for our son's 5th birthday party, we were very impressed with the service from our first contact, all emails were answered promptly and any questions answered. All the were very tame and friendly, especially the meerkats which were extremely friendly and actively chose to be around us. It was very fascinating to handle some I had never even seen before, especially the skunk who was very gentle. The reptiles were all very well cared for were also happy to be handled, and the was very patient with us. Overall an amazing and I’d to anyone who loves animals, or has a particular interest in any of the they have as you’re unlikely to find such a hands-on elsewhere We an 'Avid Explorer' package for our Daughter's 6th Birthday, and it was brilliant!
