Instantly welcomed, chose Lemon granita and Pitaschio from Bronte gelato with brioche which we highly recommend. Authentic Sicilian flavours. Also had the canoli but its gigantic! All in all would visit again Simply amazing. We came with the kids to try the brioche and have some croissants (breakfast time), and to see the 1880 original decor. We don’t speak Italian. :) The staff was so lovely to us! They brought 4 different types of their famous granita just for our kids to try (for free). If you are in the region, it is a must-do. One of the best granitas in the area, which is a pretty high bar already. Get it with a honey croissant for an extra special treat. It’s never too busy and always fresh. Their croissants are nothing to sneeze at either. Just go in you can’t go wrong here. The sweets are of excellent quality, like homemade, fresh and very tasty. We tried the Canoli, strawberry cake, ice cream (zuppa inglese) and granite (chocolate) with brioche. It was all delightful! Visit if you have the chance to be passing by, staying around or in Santa Venerina. A lovely place, really classical and authentic. The cannoli were incredible! The free taste of granita was a nice touch. We drove from Naxos to come here. The honey and pistachio croissants were both great and served warm when we had them. Granita was given complimentary and was very high quality and not too sweet. The man working was very kind as well. Worth the drive! Stopped here on the way to Taormina for breakfast and was treated to a selection of croissants (honey was amazing!), great coffee and granita on the house. Super friendly and welcoming staff made us feel right at home.
