Another wonderful example of a 19th century Grade 2 listed clapper bridge. This one has five spans made of granite. A boundary marker is beside it. Pretty picnic spot, popular with sheep but they follow each other. Dog loved the shallow water. It seems a great stream to walk along. A beautiful little bridge in the middle of Bodmin Moor. It's a lovely place for a walk and for a splash around in the stream. If not, your dogs try yourself 🙂. Beautiful scenery and views all round. Lots of wildlife and farm animals in the surrounding area. Bridge is busy due to it being a main route out of the village. This area is also a popular dog walking area for locals. We visited in October, and it was easy to find great places for photography. On the edge of Bodmin Moor very picturesque and wild. Cattle sheep and horses roam freely .....but plenty of room to picnic, and swimming for dogs, children and older kids! Wonderful place, up on Bodmin moor to walk the dog, and for children to paddle in the stream. The local vicar happen to be baptising some people there today ! Lovely little place in the middle of bodmin moor, ideal for when you want somewhere quiet to go, paddle your feet (its rather cold) or take the family for a little picnic, wander around or hike.
