Love how the boards are set out giving a recommended route around the site. Great for walking my dog and letting him off lead. Very atmospheric and beautifully maintained (I remember the scaffolding being up for a long time whilst they were being maintained). Particularly lovely at the moment due to the lovely purple Heather. Fantastic distant sea views. Great for a quick walk, mining industry fairly well explained. The main shaft is capped. Great for walks and bike rides. Everytime I go here I find something new to explore. Free car parking and nicely maintained paths, going off the main paths is overgrown, but that's part of the appeal. Lovely around the mine buildings. As mentioned previously, the is somewhat ruined by inconsiderate dog owners not cleaning up after their pets. I'm a dog owner and am constantly irritated by such people - there is a bin, so use it! Small carpark with 5 spaces. Fantastic and the houses are amazing, so lovely to see some Cornish history in such good condition. You can look around and go in the houses. Lovely around the paths and great views. You will not be disappointed. This a under visited mining heritage location where you can get up close to beautiful old mine with boards telling you their history. A small free car park is located next to it. Nice around many houses Interesting to around the houses and read the historical information. Good views of the coast and Carn Brea from here too. Wheal Peevor is located in Radnor just before you reach the Radnor Golf Course. There is free parking at Wheal Peevor car park, but the car park is very small so there is limited space available. This whole area has a Rich Cornish Tin Mining Heritage. There are plaques on the house's, and you can see the great work that has been done to look after these buildings, so generations to come can view these magnificent and learn about Cornwall's Great Tin Mining Heritage. Located next to the house's there are very detailed boards detailing their history. There is also a very nice along side, and past the house's, the pathways are easily accessible and very well maintained. A great place to visit especially if you would like to learn more about the Cornish Tin Mining Industry.
