Perfect. We stayed at the Beech Hut for 5 nights and felt really safe, tranquil and comfortable here. The house is heated for colder nights (heats quickly) and most amenities are provided (apart from shampoo/bodywash). The hut is much bigger than the usual "shepherd hut" and it was just for 2 people. Lots of parking, beautiful environment, stable wifi. REALLY CUTE CAT roaming around too btw Had a fantastic here and stayed for two nights. My expectations of the place were already high, but it’s still exceeded itself. The lodges are lovely and our family stayed in loads of different lodges dotted around the site, from which they had nothing but good to say. The barn was lovely and the decorations already there are enough. The staff couldn’t help enough and ensure the day went smoothly and perfect. I got to photograph a stunning here a few weeks ago and despite having not been back for a few years, it was so lovely to be greeted by staff that remembered me! All of the staff here were so helpful with anything that I needed and made the day run so smoothly! The setting is incredible! My couple got married at the lake and it's such a unique place to get married, surrounded by your loved ones - truly in the middle of nature! The lodges are also perfect, so much space for getting ready in the morning but perfectly spaced so you don't accidently see each other or feel on top of each other! Lake lodge is and spacious when you have teenage kids, with room to relax and a well equipped kitchen. We also managed to swim and even play tennis inspite of the rain. Rob and the team were always helpful and friendly. Also special thanks for the lift into town. See you for the New Year. We got married at Chycara last weekend and it was the best day of our live. Or rather weekend of our lives! We were able to stay at Chycara from the Thursday before till Monday, with only our chosen friends and family on site. It made the experience so much better, just being able to explore the grounds, play tennis and even use the pool as we extended the celebrations right into Sunday evening. We booked the venue two years previously after a tour from Rob who, from that moment, answered every question we had promptly and happily right up until the week of the wedding. The team at Chycara are wonderful, and the venue speaks for itself! We hardly needed to decorate, the barn is already beautifully decked out with fairy lights. We wish we could do it all again every weekend forever and ever! Thank you so much ♥️ We had our ceremony and reception at this beautiful place. Rob and his team were extremely helpful and friendly and looked after us really well. Our coordinator was Kate Rowlands and she was outstanding. Kate and Rob took all the stress away and everything went brilliantly. Many of our guests stayed in the lodges and were delighted with the excellent standard of accommodation.
