The best farm-to-table place in Cornwall! We loved it! The atmosphere, the surroundings, the great service, and of course the fooddddd!!!! Sensational dining venue for couples or families and absolutely NOT limited to weddings / events. I think of it like Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s farm-to-plate River Cottage Restaurant; they raise their own cattle, grow their own vegetables & fruit, produce their own charcoal for cooking and make all their own products. The menu is set but it was fantastic and they went an extra mile for my gluten free child. I noticed afterwards there was no salt or pepper pots on any table; it is simply not needed because the meal is already perfection. The vegetable plots, piggery and immediate grounds around the farm can be walked around and are lovely to walk around and great for keeping young kids occupied. I can’t return soon enough The food here is freshly sourced from the farm, and as soon as you step into the restaurant you’re welcomed by a cozy outdoor vibe. I ordered the steak, which was absolutely delicious, the meat was so tender and flavorful. After the meal, you can wander around and check out the farm animals (we spotted some pigs!) and explore the greenhouse with its plants. I’d definitely love to go back again. Cannot express just how much I enjoyed visiting this incredible venue. Outdoor cooking is king here and a visit to Nancarrow provided a meal that was simply exceptional. The front of house staff are all absolutely lovely and service was slick and on point. The food itself was probably some of the best I've ever had. Homemade bread with smoked whipped butter was an fabulous way to kick things off. Succulent lamb, perfect mackerel, wonderful vegetables and as for the dessert, a mind blowing meadowsweet tart. The crew in the kitchen should be applied for presenting such an immensely enjoyable experience for the palate. Cannot wait to return. Thank you to all at Nancarrow for a truly special visit. A wonderful venue for an autumn wedding. As soon as I arrived I was under the spell. The staff were welcoming and I felt so relaxed. The farm is in a beautiful spot and there is careful, thoughtful decor at every turn. The food is incredible! The front of house team work together so well and everything runs so smoothly for the big day. Jobs get done without you noticing. The team behind the scenes must very work hard and are to be much appreciated. I’m sure they’re all Cornish Pixies! One of the most special days for me and so many thanks to everyone at Nancarrow. Wasps were a pain though. Just had an incredible summer supper at the Nancarrow Farm and I can only highly recommend it. I have been wanting to go there for ages and it didn’t disappoint. Absolutely gem of place and the staff is top notch, very friendly, very welcoming and down to earth. The food was delicious. I went on my own and the way the tables are set makes it very sociable.
