It is an excellent pub with a great range of food and drinks. You can sit inside or on picnic benches outside with the most amazing views of St. Micheal's Mount. The food was delicious and came pretty quickly . There's a small carpark that is on a steep slope. Probably not best for learners or in experienced drivers. The staff were super and made our visit. Not posh or pretentious. Just an honest pub with decent grub, decent beers and good service. Great views across Mount's Bay and a garden with tables. We both had the fish and chips with minted mushy peas. Delicious with a special mention for the chips! Popped in as staying at a nearby holiday park. Staff were super and were a great laugh. We ordered quite a mix and everything was great, including the Steak & Ale pie that one of the staff had prepared herself for the specials menu. I'm not local so not sure if I can get back before I go home, but if you get the chance visit this great pub. 😋🙂 Stopped for lunch had a table with a view of St.Micheals Mount. Great food very staff and prices quite reasonable. Outside seating area overlooking the bay would be lovely on a nice day. We went here for lunch and loved the garden with excellent views. We walked up the hill from town, just be aware the pavements are narrow. Certainly worth it for a relaxing lunch and a drink. Clean and well managed pub. I would definitely visit again. Stopped here for a drink after a very hot walk along the South West Coast Path. Served by very attentive member of staff, who took the time to engage in a conversation. The pub has recently been renovated to a very high standard with views over Mounts Bay, which were breathtaking. Great selection of beers, ales & ciders. Would definitely return. Lovely cosy local pub. The staff were very friendly. There was a very long wait for our food on the first visit, but it was definitely worth the wait! We had the best vegan fish and chips we’ve ever had! It was so good we had to go back before we left Cornwall. The food came very quickly the second time. It might be a good idea to book a table if you want to eat as it’s not a huge pub and it’s usually pretty busy! A lot more than a pub! Enjoyed three evening meals here. Great service & food simple with no problem altering my request for a smaller portion. A very place with view of St Michael’s Mount. Highly recommend.
