One of the Best Places To Visits in Porthtowan Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. the campsite is on an amazing location on a hill - you can get to porthtowan beach in about 20 minutes, although the walk down is a bit steep, narrow and tricky. you can also see the beach and mine shafts from the campsite which is lovely! the wild camping pitch is not completely flat, especially the more sheltered areas - so care should be taken when choosing where to pitch! also, if an event is taking place in the campsite then be aware that many areas will be blocked off with no access for campers. We had another fantastic camping holiday at Mount Pleasant Eco Park this August. The weather was variable and the Atlantic wind caused us some issues but the team at the Eco Park were brilliant in helping us get sorted. Fantastic location with views that are hard to beat and amazing on site food from Canteen. We will undoubtedly be back! We stayed here in August. Great location. Cool communal bar area. The sauna is ace. Great coffee. Lots of community events in the evening, and just up the hill from the lovely Porthtowan beach. We had a tent disaster; and at very short notice the manager went above and beyond to find our family of four accommodation on site for the next two days until we were sorted.
