An amazing gem tucked away in south Cornwall. Accessible from both Helston and Camborne sides with ease. Team greeted us on arrival and were really friendly . We played skittles, and went in the arcade. All of it was fun, well maintained and clean. Seeing others eating we also had dinner that was amazing also. value menu with a choice of options, all cooked perfectly and in time. Thanks for everyone who just got this right. Hope to come back again soon! This place has sadly gone downhill. It used to be a family favourite. The bowing is still (though our lane was switched off 3 minutes early… which is a lot when you’re trying to beat the other team!!) The at the desk were above and beyond lovely. I really couldn’t fault them. Kind, friendly and accommodating. But the food was just grotty! Everything was overcooked and when we asked for the gluten free options (which you’d think would be quite common these days) we were given a very short list… ‘small fish and chips’, chips, or cheesy chips. Not even the offer of any vegetables which would be gluten free. That was a big disappointment, but she didn’t really miss out, as the food was so awful anyway. A member of came over to ask how our food was, but as one person began to respond, she walked away without listening!! We were having a catch up between 2 families so didn’t want to make a fuss so just laughed it off. We then headed to the games room, where the shooting lane used to be. It was freezing cold and lifeless, more machines to win toys (or not) and 2 uneven pool tables to attempt to play a game. Only 2 cues so we had to wait for another family to finish playing their game. The air hockey was great! All in all a very mediocre experience, which is not how it used to be. Lovely, friendly staff, but everything else a bit of a let down. We didn’t say anything at the as we were there for a catch up with old friends, but it’s definitely worth an honest review We had a fabulous time! It was so much fun. for little kids as you could play the skittles in different ways. Big portions of food and very delicious too. Relaxing atmosphere and had an American vibe. We wish we had one near us. Staff were too. Really food and we had such a lot of fun playing skittles. Loads of other games too. Would highly recommend. 11 adults of varying ages and we all really enjoyed it all and will be back. Not as as it used to be. Unable to get a table on a Wednesday night so had to pay full price £19.95 for 30mins bowling for 3 of us, a few machines st a £1 a and old table games. It's clean but tired, ok but busy so feels abrupt. Booking a meal was easy, booked slot online. Clean, bright and comfortable seating. Food was good, with the venue catering for different dietary needs, and double-checking on the food allergy to ensure everything was good. Friendly & attentive service from the staff. A evening out. We've been coming to country skittles for many years, we love the skittles, the arcade and always stay for a meal. However this the food quality had slipped slightly, with the food arriving warm not hot, the were almost like oven and the scampi was cheap quality. The chicken strips were good. My friend had the parmo (I think that's what it was called), and enjoyed that, but again the were a let down.Staff were friendly and helpful, it was very busy but the were happy to help. Skittles itself was fun, hasn't changed in years! Arcade was also fun and reasonably priced. We have been here ten times over the years. Whom ever is in charge now needs to seriously look at the games on offer as 95% are not working. The food quality is dropping each as well. The bowling is always brilliant. If you had machine games that worked it would be for you and the customers. It feels like who ever owns this place is now clinging onto what ever money it can bring in without updating anything. Very sad as we loved the place at first.
