We were in the area on holiday and decided to book in on a rainy day at the beginning of the summer holidays. The reception were friendly, the changing room was clean, they had plenty of family changing cubicles, easy to use lockers, warm and powerful showers, staff, inflatable which was well organised with plenty of staff. Balls and floats were available to play with in the small and could be taken to the larger pool. Children 5-9 years old had fun, as did us adults. Would return for the same again on the future. Also the murals on the walls along the were lovely. Been using the gym for about a year,it's clean, welcoming and the are great. Lovely place, and I am doing the over 55 fitness class. The other leisure centres charge half that price.. Won't bother again I've just completed my first week at Carn Brea Leisure Centre. First impressions - the building looks tired on approach, but the available more than make up for this. Steve showed me around the centre - he was very informative. I've completed 4 cardio fit classes and no longer feel like I need to vomit after 10 mins 🙃 I tried Aqua on Thursday - who knew how much fun you can have trying to balance on a noodle... I'm still giggling and aching - it's a fab all round work out. I had a lovely swim today (Saturday) after a class. It was to see the families swimming together today but also for me to have lane swimming 🏊‍♀️ (one lane all to myself). The members are and approachable. I'm on it 💪 gym, but there is a lack of care for the mens changing rooms they spent months smelling of urine which is now sorted. In addition to the above the chaps that go in to clean it just spray the urinals and sign the paper off when it looks like this. People pay to use these facilities, just needs to be better.
