Excellent beach, short from the carpark which is a decent size. The is a bit hilly and over fields so can get boggy. Worth the effort though, rock pools, clear water, clean sand and occasionally seals when you get there. No lifeguard or toilets. Visited on Friday, 20th June. A found in the middle. The water is so clear and blue. The water is so refreshing with the hot sunny weather. Extraordinary views. Very pretty which is an easy descent down from the car park. Very good sand and relatively well protected from lots of wind. Does have a coastal around the cliff edges. Dogs allowed with in certain times during the busier summer periods. Put this on your list immediately!! While the itself is lovely and quiet, it has a very quaint and picturesque views with small rolling waves. But the best part about this place are the SEALS!! If you’re lucky enough to visit during the season then this is such a brilliant experience and is top of my list whenever we visit. Lovely with a bit of a to get to. If visiting in June look out for the fields of wild poppies. Lovely beach, about 10 minutes from the carpark. A toilet would be nice in the carpark. Nice place to visit for a short evening stroll and there’s the Bowgie inn nearby which has some fab views of the and friendly service. Stunning … glorious coastal too! Tranquil, clean and great for our two dogs 🐶 they loved it. Unfortunately no dog bins anywhere to be seen on the coastal walk, or Bowgie Inn (where we parked).
