Vast sandy with surroundings. Lots of people. Good for family holidays. Plenty of amenities in nearby Mawgan Porth. Cafés, bars, restauarant. Large parking places Easily accessible by bus from Newquay. Mawgan Porth is simply stunning! A definite must-see when exploring Cornwall's beautiful coastline. The golden sands stretch out invitingly, and the dramatic cliffs provide a breathtaking backdrop. I especially loved discovering the charming little caves tucked away on the sides of the – they added a real sense of adventure. Perfect for a relaxing day by the sea or an invigorating coastal walk. Don't miss this gem! Great beach, very life guards. Good for body boarding quite a lot of the time, sometimes red flagged so check before visiting. Superb that always felt safe and well looked after. Probably doesn't attract as much attention as neighbouring Watergate, Polzeath, Newquay etc but the place is different and more intimate. Nicely served by cafes, pubs etc and hope to return in the near future for more stunning sunsets and fun on the sand Massive of sand. Plenty of room for everyone. Excellent opportunity for water sports under protection from RNLI lifeguards. Good parking and small shop with wide range of food & drink. Tasty food at Box & several restaurants. beach, waves are crazy as it's straight off the Atlantic. Dog friendly. Stream coming down the middle of the where quite a few of the kids were playing. Parking if you come just after lunch can be a nightmare, but most places were charging £5 for the whole day. One of the car parks had a "full" sign but we're letting one in one out so a 2 minute wait and we were parked. Coffee shop, pub, pizza place and a surf shop are opposite the beach. Huge, amazing when the tide is out. Various food options just across the road, pizza, BBQ, pasties, pub grub etc. Car parks by the were all full but took a right turn, past the mini golf, and you could park in a field all day for £5! Anywhere you go to Cornwall you will get 100% satisfaction because of the sceneries and beaches and this one of them so I enjoyed a lot. People all over Cornwall were so 😍😍😍 Absolutely stunning with wonderful pub and cafes. One of the best in Cornwall for dogs/kids/ease and beauty...oh and the sunsets are 💯🧡 A bay, the is fantastic and dog all year round, as far as I'm aware all the shops, bars and restaurants are all dog friendly. Will definitely be back again. What a beautiful this is, walks, great caves for exploring with kids and dog friendly.
