We always like to return to Gorran Haven to use their dog friendly beaches. When the tide is out you have plenty of in the harbour as well as behind the rocks on the left. When the tide is in you can have fun swimming, paddle boarding safely and some daredevils jump off the harbour wall me included. Very good fish and chips from the harbour chippy. Friendly service in all shops. Thank you for another amazing experience. 😊 A beautiful little harbour and beach. A great starting destination for a circular walk of the coastal path. Nice coffee ☕️ shops with lovely cake 🎂 Small seaside village. Good walks along the coast on west coast path. You can access Gorran haven which is in the village sea front and Vault beach, a bit further away. There is a fish and chips shop with very good food and with good reviews. Good sized car park available in the village sea front. Lovely spot for a stroll along the coast. Gorran Haven is quite picturesque with its sandy shores and charming surroundings. It felt like a proper Cornish gem. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Lovely place and dogs aren't banned so enjoy it while you can.lovrly friendly locals as well August 2025 Update: Visited the again today. In terms of the not a lot has changed. Still a lovely large and sandy ideal for paddling, swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking or simply making sandcastles. Toilets nearby and a range of cafes and restaurants right on the as re also handy. The car park, just up the road from the beach, charges £2 for an hour, £4 for 2 hours or £6 for 3 and over. There are other fees for overnight, motorhomes and motorbikes are free. However the kiosk appeared to offer a price of £5 for the day which seemed to contradict the machine price. It's probably best talking to the kiosk to ensure you get the best price for your requirements. @familydadventures ------ Lovely large sandy with a good sized car park, public toilets and a couple of fab cafes on the front. Plenty to keep the whole family entertained! My girls had a great time in the early evening here when the was fairly quiet. I imagine in a hot sunny day this place would be packed from the early hours so best to get here early or wait till the evening. Didn't see any lifeguards on this and people were swimming, body boarding, paddle boarding and sailing all from the shore. The is easily large enough for all of these activities to take place at the same time. The car park has a normal operation charging rate but we noticed that the machines had been covered up and new rates set for tourists this summer. Payment had to be made at the cabin by the entrance. Whilst this may seem annoying, the £2 an hour or £5 for the day isn't that bad at all. Beautiful beach, little shops for food and drink. Large car park. Really nice beach, lots of nice sand, kayak hire was very welcome and fish and chips excellent. A small but perfect harbour village.
