The cake was delicious. The only let down on leaving was seeing a member of staff stroking a dog and continued then to carry on with putting out menus. Not best hygiene practices and feel staff need to wash there hands more often. As farm shops goes, it was excellent. It had a wide selection of products and the restaurant next door was spacious. As a visitor from another part of the farming country it was nice to be in s familiar setting. Both staff and customers were very friendly. What is the point of offering a generous discount code for shoppers that sign up for membership, if the discount code doesn't work????? Honestly, shopping should be quick and easy. Spent 20 minutes creating an account, registering, and trying to buy a single item using the website's code to attract new members. Waste of time. Best to shop elsewhere. Lovely country store/tack shop/country clothing store. Really good range of items and dog friendly. There is also a cafe on site that serves toasties, jacket potatoes and some larger plates like fish and chips. Ordered as sadly don't live in Cornwall.The customer services number went through to an ACTUAL person, no hold music, no weird selections. They dealt with my issue there and then. The boots arrived when they said they would and were well packaged. Thank you for delivering what feels so rare in this day and age - great human service! Rather than just send me both items which all other’s companies I have ordered from would do . Griggs picked up that the orders for the same thing had gone through close together and rang me to check. They then refunded one of the items to my account immediately. . Fantastic service.
