We camped and facilities were well, toilets cleaned regularly throughout the day. Loved mini golf and the kids loved the parks/play areas. Soft play is a little on the small side but my kids enjoyed having it all to themselves! Pub is VERY expensive. Swimming pool often very busy, we went indoors as outdoors isn't heated. We probably wouldn't stay again, only for the fact we could only check in from 3pm which is very late for camping especially when it takes hours to set up. Your first day is practically gone. If the check in time for camping changed, we'd love to come back next year. Slip and slide is amazing, must do. Staff a little grumpy side and had to wait a while at the cafe. The lady doing the disco entertainment was great, such a laugh! The band that played a few nights prior were... not good. We had a sausage barm from the cafe which was lovely, some hot drinks and milkshakes which were all nice but didn't eat in the pub. Me and two friends booked a Villa here via Air B&B that had full access to the facilities here and it's such a location! The pool is clean and warm. The sauna and ice baths in their wellness suit was a addition. The gym had lots of equipment and the cafe had lovely looking cakes and coffee. The location is really central it was a base for all the activities we did around Cornwall! Staff were all really friendly and helpful. 5 Stars. We attended an end-of-season event for Newquay U11s at Atlantic Reach Resort, and it was fantastic! The Slip and Slide was a huge hit, and the range of inflatables was impressive. Food and drink options were plentiful, with easy cash or card payments. No issues with phone signal, and the music kept the vibe upbeat. The staff were incredibly motivated and friendly, making the day even better. The owners are lovely, and their passion shines through. We can’t recommend Atlantic Reach Resort highly enough for a fun, well-run event! 5* to this place, I have come back from a 2 night stay and had the best time, 2 night wasn't enough, if the kids didn't have school I would of stayed longer. ATLANTIC REACH RESORT had everything we needed, indoor and outdoor swimming pool, mini golf and a play area which was included. we stayed in a tent, plus more which you had to pay for but was a little extra cost. Every staff member was amazing, friendly and helpful, we came with 2 adults 2 teenagers a two year old and a dog. Since being back I have highly recommended this place to all my friends and family. We will definitely be booking again for the summer holidays 😍 We had never stayed here before and I was attracted by the name, thinking this would be a relaxing spa type site. However, the actual site left quite a bit to be desired! There is a swimming pool which is often fully booked and even when you book it, the staff don’t always find your booking details! There is a gym but as far as leisure goes, that’s about it! The soft play for the children is extremely small and more suited to toddlers which left the older children disappointed. The playground for the children does not have a deal there unfortunately- it was very basic. The house which we booked was basic and clean but incredibly dated and in need of TLC. It would not cost a deal to sort out the maintenance needed. The biggest disappointment however was the hot tub which only had half the jets working so it was more like sitting in a warm bath. Despite the maintenance guy calling to fix it he said that’s as good as he can make it! I paid extra for a hot tub and I wasn’t impressed ! The location is - easy to get to Newquay and other areas but so much more could have been done to the site so we would have been tempted to stay and enjoy the facilities - had there been any! A shame- but we won’t be returning.
