To get to the slopes or return home you have to get a shuttle bus, they are meant to be every 15mins but are much more sporadic than that. They are always full and often don’t stop for you to get on at the stop. This morning three buses went past before we could get on, waiting for around 40mins. Returning home there are ridiculous queues and they don’t put any additional services on at peak times, it can take upwards of an hour to get on. Furthermore the buses on some of the lines stop around 1730 so no chance of apres or a dinner in town. Hugely disappointing and really ruined our trip. Morzine is a huge town with lots of Brits in and every amenity you could need. Beautiful place, lots of pretty buildings. Additionally, some popular slopes are rather narrow and lack sufficient safety measures, a fall near the edge could be quite dangerous. Finally, some of the older lifts could be upgraded, they tend to move rather quickly when boarding and lack adequate space for skis.
