Love the place , it’s to chill for a day or for eve. Coming here for years . Renovation finally done (good bcs a lot of things were tired).. very easy to access and buy tickets. As an improvement could think that amount of to be controlled ( some days it get way too overcrowded) as well as hygiene of some guests (who are swimming in underwear or keeping underwear under swim shorts) A very relaxing way to pass some time! I went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't too busy. The lockers are a decent size for your personal belongings and lock securely with the wristband provided. I'd recommend bringing two towels, one for use during your and one for the shower after! A basic soap is provided in the shower but recommend to bring your own soaps. There are also some hair dryers available but not very effective. If arriving using public transportation, you can get a small discount on tickets via SBB. The station is about a 30 minute walk, or the bus, which operates hourly takes only 10 minutes. If you book in advance then the entrance queue is shorter but it generally isn't required if you decide to go last minute or unsure of the time. Lastly, it isn't a fancy spa. There are loads of families and small groups. If you're looking for a quiet and peaceful spa outing, this might not be for you. But if you're looking for casual activity and don't mind kids and chatting, it's really nice. I do not recommend based on their and lack of customer service. Their life guards are rude, and treat English speakers much differently (blonde male lifeguard — also why are you lifeguard dressed as police!?) The facilities are a mess, no shoes or slippers allowed whatsoever. I saw FOUR able bodied steady slip and fall in my 40 minutes there before I left. The outdoor spas are lukewarm bath water. Your three hours includes having to hunt down a change area and a locker .. of which there are far too few. No phones allowed on the pool deck, which is listed nowhere in their rules (it’s fine but once you inform no need to act as though a terrorist act has occurred) but hey, you can smoke outside at the pools so that makes total sense The front desk person Angelique was also seemingly annoyed to deal with any English speakers. I offered to converse with her or someone else in English, Spanish or Russian but she only spoke English and French. Go to the toilet before you change because you can’t wear shoes once you’ve gone to the 🤮🤮🤮 Gorgeous facility in an exceptionally scenic location. The renovations are very well done. The cafe, on the other hand, is a nightmare - from service to food quality. There are almost no vegetarian options either (shocking in 2025). Otherwise, the hammams, saunas, are excellent. Perhaps prices should be increased to reduce crowds? One word after renovation: disaster First, the new tiles are slippery when wet. Did anyone thing about this before making such a poor choice? The hamam are not hot enough, cannot have a proper steam bath. The heat in the saunas is a joke. I felt cold in all saunas. They are not working... Last but not least, the foot disinfectant was removed, welcome to skin diseases. I've been about 30 times in the last one year and it was my first choice, but next I'll drive a bit more and go to other thermal baths Replying to owner response: I find it awful to not consider your clients feedback and simply denying it. This explains probably the choice of slippery tiles. It was simply cold in the 85 degrees sauna. It was quite crowded when we visited on a Saturday afternoon. The place is quite spacious and there is a lot of choice among different pools, saunas and relax rooms. It would be good to be allowed to bring your own flip flops. Towels are not provided so make sure to bring your own. The changing space is quite crammed. We were charged extra for staying 15 minutes longer which was an unpleasant surprise as most quality spas give you a 15-minute grace period. I recommend getting the 3 hour pass instead of 2 hours. It’s only a 6chf difference but it’s worth it because there is so many new features that make it one of the best experiences in the region! Unfortunately, our visit to this facility was quite disappointing. It took us around 15 minutes just to find a parking spot. Although we had booked a specific slot, it seemed that entry wasn’t being regulated, as the venue was extremely overcrowded. Finding a free sunbed was nearly impossible, and in the sauna, were packed in like sardines. What surprised us most was that slippers were not allowed anywhere inside. Everyone was walking barefoot—in the pool area, sauna, and even the toilets. While the floors may be cleaned regularly, this practice felt neither hygienic nor safe, especially as the floors were very slippery. Advertised temperature is 33 to 36 degrees. On March 09th 2025 it was oscillating between 31 and 32 degrees. When we entered the water, we instantly felt that it was colder than usual. The same feeling was visibly shared by other guests as we witnessed many asking to why the was so cold. Answer was: “Water is normal, you feel cold because of the wind.” Air temperature outside was 15 degrees, we’ve been there before with freezing temperatures and always felt and warm in the water. It is obvious why management lowers temperature while rising the admission prices up. Too bad, as much as we enjoyed Lavey, we won’t return. Luckily, there are many bath options in the area. We spent 2 nights at this lovely hotel and enjoyed our here very much. Relaxing ambiance, good restaurants and massages. I thought it was s touch that the manager sent an email during our stay to "make sure that our service lives up to your expectations" and asking that we contact him if something wasn't to our satisfaction, rather than just asking for a review after the fact. We also enjoyed its proximity to Château de Chillon, just a 20 minute drive, which made it morning activity before returning to the baths. Highly recommended! We visited on the 1st January, and to our surprise was not that overcrowded. The area is nice, although not enough areas with bubbles, and if they have those are always occupied. I was surprised to find out flip flops are prohibited and did not find walking around barefoot comfortable. For this reason, I would choose a spa where wearing them is allowed, only due to hygienic reasons. Cool spa, however our started poorly. We were greeted at the front desk by the most unpleasant member that I can recall. We admittedly don’t speak French and asked politely if English was ok. From that point forward the member took every opportunity to be difficult. We received a lecture on how my wife’s facial / scalp massage came with 4 hour discounted pool / access and that we had paid more for only 3 hours of access… she didn’t say this to be helpful or to propose a solution, just to make us feel bad. When she finally offered us wrist bands she actually withdrew the first one because I guess my wife didn’t reach far enough over the counter. Their hands would have met in a totally normal interaction had she not withdrawn. This was accompanied by an exaggerated eye roll. The slights continued with things like being asked to present our booking tickets and then not acknowledging them at all. A minute later she asked for them again and made it know that she would be scanning them on her time. The whole thing just felt off… how does one work at a spa and make it their goal to be rude? We are not difficult people. We are quiet, polite and go out of our way to treat respectfully. The member didn’t have a name tag, but had very short hair and was working the front desk. The other were extremely and helpful, just a shame that this one bad apple tainted the whole for us. I very much like the spa and it’s otherwise even better than before, BUT please please please put a bucket in the to throw on the stove. is nothing without a proper löyly.
