Seit 1981 fahre ich / wir regelmässig zum Schluchsee. Mal zum knallharten Rennrad- und MTB-Training, mal zum Wandern und Fotografieren. Und auch zum Abhängen (heut dagt man wohl chillen...). Alles möglich hier in der Umgebung. Als Unterkünfte FeWo und oder Hotel. Alles gut. Ich empfehle einen Besuch im August. Das Wasser ist nicht kalt, angenehm, aber die Luft duftet nach Tannennadeln. Es gibt einen Nachteil: Das Ufer und der Boden sind felsig, sodass Badeschuhe nicht überflüssig sind. Es gibt einen kostenpflichtigen Wasserpark und einen Strand. Hier können Sie eine Bootsfahrt unternehmen und verschiedene Schwimmausrüstungen mieten. Ein schöner See, lädt zu verschiedenen Wassersportarten ein, mit einem schönem Freibad anliegend.
