We stayed in the Stag Suite & it was lovely. Our host, Dianne, was very welcoming & happy to help with anything. Shops & restaurants are only a short stroll away. Would definitely recommend Argyle Guest House. We stayed here recently on our bikepacking trip. We hadn’t booked but nothing was too much trouble. The room was lovely & breakfast was delicious. Could not recommend this b&b highly enough. If it were possible then it would be a 10. We stayed here 2 nights and Dianne was very welcoming and very knowledgeable regarding the area. The egg royale was perfect as was the porridge, made the traditional way too. The room was very comfortable even including locally brewed whisky. Everything was a short stroll away or a few gusts away due to storm Amy!!! Would recommend Argyle Guest house.
