They have excellent performances, actors did a great job. The theater is small so there is good contact between the audience and actors. The only drawback is the bar. This is the best theatre for learning about contemporary Slovenian playwriting. The theatre organizes a festival of new writing each year, with a contest awarding the best play. They also have Slovene plays translated into English. The program offers a good range of plays including thought provoking pieces, lighter comedies and even plays for children. The actors are great, I would really recommend seeing different shows; some actors are almost unrecognizable in different roles. The building could use a renovation but it feels cozy, warm and homely even in its current state. The best time to catch a lot of different shows is in the fall and winter. The theatre is mostly closed during the summer months as most Slovenian professional theatres. Nice theatre. But no fresh air, no air condition. In the summer it is hard to enjoy the shows. I work here so my comment could be biased but it's great theater with even greater shows. Not the best.
