Side dish is optional (which is great cos let's say you don't wanna eat you can skip it). Sauce price I feel shouldn't be charged until that expensive. Perhaps give a choice when ordering side dish. Overall fish are fresh for me. this place is packed on weekends. without reservation, you will wait at least 30 minutes, like we did :) but it is a beautiful place, you can wait by the lake, sit on a bench. it is worth the wait. food was really good and it is not expensive at all. despite busy day, our waiter was super nice and friendly. good job! 10/10 More than suggestive place, close to the highroad Naklo exit. Tasty food with reasonable prices. If you have time you can try yourself also in the fishing trouts. We stopped at this restaurant on our way to Ljubljana from Bled. It seemed to be a place where you can do some pond fishing or just hanging out by the ponds. We came for the restaurant around sunset and the weather was just perfect to sit outside. We saw scorpion fish on the menu that we were really curious to try but they unfortunately did not have it that day. Instead, we had fried squids, grilled salmon, grilled mussels, and a side of potato salad. The grilled items were generous in the garlic sauce, so the lemony vinegar in the potato salad actually made it very refreshing to eat. Everything was very tasty, cooked to perfection. Good things come in small packages! Just about 45min south of Klagenfurt lies this nice little restaurant. It's simply and functionally decorated. The service was great in German, English or Slovenian. Our food was delivered quickly and correctly. There's some great desserts too!!! Worth the drive and the effort! This place is amazing!
