A big and nice mountain hut below the Storžič north face. It is a great starting point for tours to Storžič and nearby summits. The rooms are simple, heated and cosy. Food is ok, the host is available with information and suggestions. It can be crowded as many mountaineering schools go here. The car can be parked few dozen meters from the hut. Prices are reasonable. Really nice mountain hut. This hut is accessible by car in the summer and can serve as a starting point for hiking, or can be an independent goal for cycling. This hut is open in the winter as well and there is a sled path organized if there is enough snow. Sleeding is predominantly attractive during the night. Great hospitality. In Slovene mountain huts for 3 weeks, this one stands out as among the best, if not THE best. Great facility, great location, great food, great hosts, incredibly good value for the money.
