The water gardens are absolutely beautiful with amazing flowers! The paths are well maintained and accessible on wheels to. The toilet by the entrance could've done with a bit more attention to cleaning but still perfectly usable. Lots of aquatics to suit your needs in the shop and you can see the fish and tortoises in the little aquarium. The also have otters here who are very cute and interesting along with a variety of ducks and chickens to feed. (with duck feed purchased from the gift shop, not bread). Entry is but there is a gift shop. There's also The Dutch Pancake house where the staff were very accommodating and however we waited over half an hour for our food which although tasty was far from substantial. Does for a lite bite but certainly go for a large if you want something more filling. There's plenty of parking. Overall a place to visit, for kids too and a lovely, interesting little on a day. :) Really water gardens with plenty of ducks around. quick around of around 15 minutes if your wanting to kill some time. Really peaceful and tranquil. Dog too.A place to visit then on to the pancake house. Pancake house is only dog in the outside seating area, best to book as a small area with only a few tables. Gorgeous to sit out on a sunny day with the pond containing carp next to seating area. A delightful little among wooded pools with ducks. There's also a separate fishing area with individual platforms for anglers. The main attraction is the Dutch Pancake shop, which also serves ice creams. There is also an aquatic centre to purchase tanks, fish and plants from. Plenty of onsite parking. Great place to take the little ones, so they can see some and along the narrow paths in the woodland area, and see the turtles, plus they get to see the fish. Free to enter and parking. ✨️ This is a delightful rural attraction, near Conwy,.Set in stunning countryside reached along country lanes. The trail around various ponds and streams is a serene and pleasant stroll with banks of flowers and woodland . The cafe is charming with indoor and outdoor seating, pancakes are delicious with lots of savoury and sweet options. The staff are welcoming and friendly, Oliver gets a special mention for promoting this super local business. Do visit and have a time. Entry to the water gardens is free. Went to the Pancake House for birthday lunch. Recommend you bookin advance - it gets very busy. Food is always superb here. Never had a bad meal. Always get a welcome and if they know it's a birthday they always put a candle on the food. 🥰 Then went for a on the trail. It's only short but long enough for little legs 😊 What's not to like! trail & pancakes were tasty. Sadly no capybaras or otters anymore but still a morning out. little around the reserve, dog friendly. Pancake house is amazing and the main reason we visited, but the around the reserve was perfect for settling the dogs first. Definitely some very old photos in the advertising. trail is just a couple of paths, some very stagnant ponds & some mallard ducks. Other enclosures all seem to be empty. Pancakes are alright with a quick service. Decor in the restaurant is very dark. Nice to see the fish in the aquatics centre. The food was delectable and service was very welcoming and friendly. Cleanliness was above par and atmosphere was good! The trail is a to build an appetite for some savoury /sweet pancakes. Would recommend Its a good if your nearby The drive there is quite treacherous, skinny country roads The animals were nothing to write home about, the most exiting thing was the chickens who seemed very bored Seems more of a place to cycle to or fish at, i dont reccomend driving and making a day out of it But its so 🤷♂️ Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
