Staff were lovely and helpful. Our 3 main courses were all over cooked sadly, I haven't had duck that wasn't pink in the middle for a long time. It was VERY crispy around one edge. Really good food, tasty and prices great! Set just above the river. I love this place. The lunch is great value - lunch of soup, pate maison, main and great choice of puds is less than 20 euros. Lovely location on the banks of the Lot. My husband and I had dinner here last Saturday with a group of people from Cancer Support France. We were a little concerned about the as we are both coaliacs and do not eat meat. We needn't have worried as the lovely waitress understood completely and we had one of the most delicious meals we've had in France. Located on the side of the river, La Guinguette offers great food and excellent service. A bit off the beaten track but worth the drive. Great place for lunch offering excellent value for money.
