In winter indoors, with plenty of tables, it has almost a pub feel, lively and with musical and other events. They serve nice beer and wines, with good light food such as tasty savoury tarts, satay and other snacks and some evenings soups and special dishes such as chicken curry. Every time I go I feel like I'm on holiday, such a atmosphere! Make sure you book as it gets busy. It's a very small simple place, serving just wine and beer with a small selection of good food. Since we only shared some tapas, boards with cheese and charcuterie, I cannot really rate the food appropriately. What I had was very good except for the hummus, for which seemed over seasoned with cumin/coriander and lacking lemon and garlic. A band was playing lively music and the view of the Lot and the sunset is magical. It is a place for families because the kids can play around outdoors in a large open area that is easily visible from the ourltdoor dining. I recommend reservations. Parking for the village is below so be prepared to walk up stairs and uphill a little, although it is not strenuous.
