Brilliant place for toddlers, excellent staff and great for toddlers to and explore Good role area for under 5.. I find the are very engaged her.. the staff genuinely like too We came for a Facebook event which they posted called "pirate day". A day of pirate fun was advertised. In reality there was a small pirate poster which could stick an eye patch sticker onto, and a blue blanket on the floor with a dirty offcut of MDF lain on top for a "plank". Incredibly disappointed, there was absolutely no effort put into the event at all. I'm not even sure why they bothered to post it as an event in the first place. The playtown itself was just OK. Pretty small though so you couldn't stay here for very long. Wouldn't visit again. My son enjoyed the roleplays Lovely mke believe areas and great staff Lovely place, very welcoming and can dress up and play. Food is nice too. What a fab place. My five and four year old absolutely loved it. We got a lovely warm welcome and were made to feel comfortable and at home straight away. Went out of their way to cater for dietary requirements and very well priced compared to other places. Put a lot of effort into their food and just could not have asked for a more accommodating and tremendous service. Will definitely be reccomending and can't wait to come again 🥰 The lady is lovely, and my daughter likes it there. But its not for me. Its chaotic. I feel the need to constantly tidy up the areas! The food is great. Service, very efficient. The one toilet i went in wasn't as clean as I would expect. The potty and toilet seat (for kids, that goes onto the normal seat) were REALLY dusty. Which I thought was disgraceful, seeing as they are more than likely going to be used. I didn't have time to clean it for my daughter, so I just held her over the toilet, incase she wet herself! Which is no biggy. But whats the point in having items that are unusable? The rest of the room was clean enough. The hand towel holder wasn't covered in dust/grime. Which brings me to the conclusion.... the potty etc are left unwiped when the rest of the area is cleaned. Not great. Fantastic role area. Fantastic pretend town with different well sourced areas such as vet, shop, supermarket, fire station etc. Very much like children's programme Bigleton. Plenty of adult seating and lovely cafe. Helpful staff. Visited with 18 month granddaughter who loved it. Highly recommended for younger children. Some lovely organised events take place such as clay modelling, unicorn day, rock pool day all of which add to the enjoyment of the day. First time we me and my son went today and have to say what a little gem of a place it is ! So much to in there for young children my son loved it. Emma who is working there today is a really lovely friendly person 5 star customer service too. We shall definitely be back ! Visited several times for & classes, role area is brilliant, classes great for little ones including messy, sensory and crafts lots of choice for babies and toddlers, can’t wait to go again Saturday for chef class. New outdoor sledge is brilliant, coffee & cake is 👌🏼 all staff are friendly and always smiling ☺️ We love coming to petite street, my daughter has really come out of her shell going to sessions. Anna and Claire are there every time we go and they are so helpful and friendly! We have a really good time every time we go. I highly recommend a visit if you’ve never been before. I have been to this place loads over the years and never disappoints. Yesterday we did breakfast with peppa pig and George and the girls absolutely loved it well worth the money. Good value for money for general but poorly organised events. They were very busy with orders and were telling people there would be quite a wait for food so I opted just to get a coffee which never arrived after an hour so I did get a refund for that. Waited to get my picture taken with mascots that they had on that day but other parents just barging in with their and ruining the experience. It’s a small area so ideal for younger but they seemed to just be overwhelmed with numbers on this particular day.
