Much improved ground. Friendly atmosphere and plenty parking within walking distance. Held part of our National Sales Conference here and we’re treated very well. Food was good and the facilities are for events. Outstanding venue, helpful and friendly ground staff also amazing fans. Spennymoor Town v Merthyr Town National League North New Ground No.403 The first of three long distance travelling for the Martyrs brings them to Co. Durham. Lewis Twamley opened Merthyr's account before a tap in from Addulai Samba increased the Martyrs lead. Spennymoor pulled a goal back just before halftime with an undefended header. HT 1-2 It was the Merthyr that can't defend that turned out in the second half as Spennymoor ran riot. Though the Martyrs briefly went back in front courtesy of Ricardo Rees rounding the keeper, ghe inability to defend set pieces finished them off. It's never easy conceding 6 but when you've been 2up and 3-2 up, it's a bitter pill to swallow! A second for Ricardo the only consolation. FT Spennymoor 6-4 Merthyr Decent ground ok facilites with good crowds One of the best local pitches I've seen. food, drink and merch options. Friendly staff and terrific atmosphere at match time. I've thoroughly enjoyed following the club since moving to Spennymoor from "down south". club, team, supporters! Amazing place team and professional set up highly recommended match day fun with quality grass roots Very friendly fans at the club a day out . Neat little stadium, with a atmosphere tucked away in Spennymoor. First time visit here. little club. Well run. Friendly staff made it an enjoyable day. The grounds and staff were friendly, but the inner disabled toilet left a lot to be desired. For one it was really cramped and difficult to manoeuvre a wheelchair into the door way to access and it lacked a pull out side rail to allow a disabled person to get hold of when trying to get onto the toilet seat. It would be quite easy for a disabled person with extremely poor balance to fall and bash their head off the toilet basin or the sink. So overall I would recommend that other disabled people make sure that they have been to the toilet at home prior to attending any games being held at these grounds. staff; comeradarie, lovely atmosphere and facilities Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
