Great wee place to spend an hour or two whether it's raining or not. Good selection of 2p and £1 machines that pay out to be exchanged for prizes. There is enough variety for all ages and some of real skill. Place is spotless. Some ok but many of kids rides either too expensive for what they are or too short for what was charged. Ticket collection gives a bit of return for money but takes a lot. Ok for 30 minutes of fun but no more than that. A bit run down and you don't actually win money but to exchange for gifts in the shop. If going a couple of days build up your points for better prizes Not enough for young kids. Once you’ve wacked a minion, knocked the coconuts down and water jetted the dinos there’s little else to do. Do they really need to give you for every game you play it is hardly an incentive as their currency is so devalued as to be meaningless Pretty good amusements with a decent variety of games. Would be improved if the 2p and 10p slider machines had some small prizes sitting on top of the coins that would in turn get pushed off into the coin collection area occasionally. Also the ticket shop needs to have the item prices marked a bit more clearly as they are a bit hard to make out. Overall quite enjoyable. Went down to Newcastle a few weeks ago for the first time in years alot has changed but this amusements is the one I kept going back to there is so much to do me and my partner spent hours there Definitely worth a visit if your heading to Newcastle! the penny pushers all give out and then you can exchange these for small toys etc, also there is public toilets and other activities behind this place so definitely handy if you have kids Good to play for and the ticket shop seems more reasonable than others. Fun for kids & adults alike Tom & Jerry 2p machine is great for kids. You get the chance to win with every 2p played. So if you lose your money to the machine, (and you will 🤣) you still get a prize cashing in tickets! Great little arcade whilst away on holiday The most busted scam claw machines I've ever played on. 5 times on different machines I had a lightweight plushy perfectly gripped and the claw just slides off of it on the way up. The coin pusher machines with £5 notes on a paperclip just get sucked into the sides by magnets so you don't win them if they do get tipped over the edge. Shameless grift of a place. Avoid and go to Kent Amusements down the street for much better and bumper cars. Disclaimer: I don't work for or know anyone that works at Kent amusements.
